| My name is Muhammad and I'm hoping to connect with individuals whom are actively seeking long term care and support with their daily routines. I've been in this industry for over the past 3 years and have provided professional support to children and youth ranging from ages 8 to 17. I've also supported adults and seniors with their day to day routine. I have extensive training and certifications from my time as a child and youth worker, community disability support worker, and front line support staff. In my personal life, I've provided support to family members with cerebral palsy and autism for well over 10 years. I attended a career college where I studied Police Foundation with a discipline in criminology. I've since left that industry behind, as I find this field to be more rewarding and purposeful. The rate reflected on my profile is simply due to my experience and credentials. I specialize in supporting individuals with complex needs, developmental delays and behavioral disorders (ODD,CD,ADHD). When supporting individuals with lesser needs that are not as complex, I'd be open to negotiating a more reasonable rate that's suitable for your needs.

I have been supporting a teenage boy with a dual-diagnosis of Autism and Developmental Delays - in a private home through Care.com - for over a year now. There I had the opportunity to work with a Behavior Analyst and apply ABA practices and techniques to teach social skills and communication skills. I am experienced with AAC applications, visual schedules, PECS, and other special needs resources. Through schooling, I have had the opportunity to work at three different schools - both elementary and secondary - for 5 month long periods. I have my cpr certification, I also have experience with children with autism, type 1 diabetes, bone and muscle conditions, and skin abnormalities.
