Senior Care in Stephenville

| I have a psw certificate. I am available evening nights and weekends. In the summer I am available in the day as well.

| I just recently went to school again to do the PCA program so I could work with seniors. I love helping anyone that may need it, I also have training in CPR.

| Hi there! My name is Joey. I am a 27-year-old male. I am located in the Stephenville/Port au Port area. I have been a home support worker/personal care worker for a few years now. I am highly educated and up to date on First Aid/CPR. I understand the special needs of individuals that need extra care, and I possess the patience and a real desire to help them maintain some of their independence by caring for them in their homes. I have the ability to help create a relaxing and caring environment for clients that will help to build self-esteem and make them feel good about themselves. I have the physical strength to help the clients get in and out of bed and to move around within their homes. I can also provide personal care such as helping them shower, use the bathroom and get dressed. I understand that companionship is a big part of this job and I look forward to meeting new clients and becoming a part of their life. I have the ability to work with people of different ages, backgrounds, and medical conditions.

| My experience I have is cooking, cleaning, and grooming for my grandmother while she had breast cancer and waiting for a worker. I was with her for 4 months around 50 hours a week. Looking forward to start a PCA course this fall.
