| I have a degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from UNB in Fredericton as well as a certification in Gerontology . I have spent years working in this field. It is about all about the needs of individuals. Getting to know the person, their family and history allows for a fairly accurate assessment of needs. Based on the persons needs I am able to prepare, plan and implementing programs, activities, daily living routines that cater to them. Nothing is cookie cutter. Everything is on an individual basis. I have been a Recreational Therapist for 15 plus years. I have positively impact lives of seniors in retirement living, long term cares , those with addictions and children.
