| I have worked as a support worker for 10 years now. I have the ability to assist clients with everyday living and make sure their needs and goals are met.

When my own son was young I ran a dayhome loved every day love interacting with individual s needing help with their daily living I am also a certified Healthcare Aide and have worked the past 7 yrs in Long term care setting. I am friendly kind caring patient easygoing cheerful honest reliable trustworthy compassionate polite courteous respectful considerate punctual self motivated take direction well have a positive attitude and hardworking. I own new sm suv have an excellent clean 28 yr driving record I have up to date first aid CPR food safe handling certificate current clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector check as well.

| I have taken the health care aide course 2 times over 20 years , the second was to update myself. I worked in LTC for over 11 years and private care over 10 years and 5 years of that I did support worker with disabilities. I am currently working with compassion care taking care of the elderly.

| I took my Certified Nursing Assistant course in the early 90’s and worked in palliative care for around 3-5 years. I left that field and went back to college to become a Certified Teachers assistant working with children with disabilities. I had my own proprietorship having a young 25 year old lady with disabilities live in my home and was her living coach. Assisting in all areas of living skills from hygiene to shopping. I enjoy working with people and value the experiences I gain from working with individuals. Seniors have so much knowledge to share and I love hearing their stories.
