Senior Care in Cayuga

| Hi, my name is Kim and I am 61years old. I'm married and living in Cayuga with my husband and 2 cats. I have over 30 years in the health care field and I am currently working casual hours with a local agency assisting seniors in their home with domestic and personal care duties. I have current CPR/FirstAid as well as current vulnerable sector check. I have extensive skills and training with dementia residents in the Long Term Care setting. I never really thought much of elderly care or companionship until my grandfather was sick in the hospital last year at the age off 65, I lost my best friend . Watching him struggle to open his food and feed himself got him emotional and broke my heart. I enjoyed hanging out with him on weekends before this happened, talking about cars and feeding the squirrels off his front porch. I'd go as often as I could to visit him. At the hospital I'd cut his nails and feed him. And spent hours with him on weekends just hanging out at his house
