Senior Care in Black Creek

| Hello, I was recently employed by a dentist and was hired as her housekeeper/cook but also ended up giving care and assistance to her father in law. He had some memory loss and mobility issues but was delightful. I also did yard work, snow removal, painting, errands and groceries, cleaned and worked in the dental clinic, set up and cleaned locum housing, cooked staff lunches and more…. At the time, my partner’s mother lived with us and I was participating in her care, mostly providing meals and keeping her company. I also helped her in and out of bed and to the washroom. I moved back to Black Creek in April to be with my sons and grandchildren and have been gardening and cleaning for a living. With 7 years of experience working as a dietary aide at Meno Ya Winn Health Centre, I served meals to patients and seniors at the extended care and I truly believe that people are better at home.

| I have worked with many elderly individuals as well as individuals with special needs. I have a background in Ophthalmology along with some surgical and ambulatory care experience. I have senior parents who I help when they need that extra little bit of care to stay in their own home. My passion is caregiving and to help others.
