Senior Care in Battleford

| I have previously worked in a nursing home a continuing Care aid. I currently work as a crisis worker in a women’s shelter. I enjoy the roll of helping others and forming relationships with them along the way. I have raised 3 children who are all grown now, I live on my own and am looking to supplement my income, but I don’t just want a mindless job, I want to do something that can make a difference in someone else’s life.

Experienced with feeding, dressing, personal hygiene, bathing, & daily living activities for seniors. Knowledgeable with utilizing certain mobility aids like wheelchairs, walkers, & daily living aids like dentures, & hearing aids. In addition, I would be willing to do light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparations, frequent safety assessment of home and environment (checking for tripping hazards, etc.), & procurement of food items and personal needs if necessary. Working as a CCA, we provide quality, client-centered care. I absolutely love being with elderly and being able to provide companionship & developing connections. With COVID present at our current time, I will be equipped with mask, shield, & gloves. If need be, a gown will be worn while providing close contact care. Proper hand washing, sanitizing, &safe distance will be done. Helping other people is my biggest passion.
