Pet Care in Miami

| Hello, my name is Veronica and I was a dog handler. My responsibilities include disinfecting all exercise equipment, play, and sleep areas as assigned. I observed and assisted with behavioral patterns in dogs, exercising dogs as needed, and utilizing various positive reinforcement dog-training techniques to correct problematic behaviors. To be a successful dog handler, I had to be observant, patient, and adapt to handling different breeds and sizes of dogs. I also had to remain calm in difficult situations as well as demonstrate problem-solving, exceptional communication, and customer service skills. I also administered medication to the dogs if they had an allergy or other health conditions. I also volunteered at pet supermarket for a pet rescue. My responsibilities included cleaning the cages, feeding, and playing with the animals. I greeted customers and told them which animals were up for adoption. I gave the customers a description of each individual animal and allowed them to ask any questions that they had about the rescue and the adoptees. I am an animal person. I want to head into veterinary science, once I go to college. I want tot make sure you and your dogs are happy and satisfied with my work.
