Flexible, loving pet care available!
|
I have several years of animal-related work including rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife in Canada and Australia, and have worked in a vet office as a vet assistant. I’ve been involved in dog rescue for most of my life with my family. I’ve just returned from several months in Australia where I worked with horses, wallabies and sea turtles. Now that I am back in Nanaimo, I have lots of flexibility for dog walking, dog sitting, drop in visits, and anything else you may need, including transporting animals to vet appointments, picking up food, etc.
I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large and small dogs, and special-needs dogs, including dogs with physical disabilities, such as difficulty walking and spinal disorders, as well as with emotional challenges, such as separation anxiety and leash reactivity.
I have volunteered with animal rescue organizations, including SPCA Nova Scotia, where I lived up until four years ago. I am flexible, courteous, reliable, and will give your pet the best possible care. If your dog is older or disabled and prefers to snuggle on the couch, I am up for that too!
