A Girl & Her Love Of Dogs
| Before I started taking care of dogs, I had the opportunity to live with a beautiful dog named Jackson. He taught me so many things, like how to love. His owner (my roommate at the time) gave me direction on how to look after him. She also shared stories of how she was able to train a wild dog (she found Jackson when living with a indigenous tribe, FAR north Australia). From this heartwarming experience I grew this appreciation for the care of something other than myself. I moved to Vancouver Island and shortly after I landed a job working for K9 Unleashed where I would pick up 5-13 dogs and take them for unleashed 2 hour hikes in our beautiful backcountry of the city of Nanaimo. By trade I am a personal trainer, nutrition coach and yoga teacher. I not only believe in the fitness and health of us humans, but also in man's best friend. I’m happy to run your dog, walk off leash, or on leash, as well as take it slow if the dog needs or is elderly. I am very flexible with dates and times week to week, I ask you’re flexible with me too. | I am a trustworthy and passionate dog lover, who is the mom the a 7 month old Aussie puppy. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with all sizes and ages. I grew up around a variety of dogs as well as I have worked in a boarding kennel and it was one of my favourite jobs. I also learned how to handle different dogs, as well as just enjoyed loving all of them. I love taking my girl for long walks and adventures to get her energy out, and of course enjoying her cuddles once she is all tired.
