Hi, I am Yuliya! I am a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of experience of teaching modern languages to teenagers and adults in Canada and Russia. I hold a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Saint-Petersburg University specializing in English/Russian translation and interpreting. Also, I graduated from Vanier College Arts, Letters and Communication program (Canada), where I was able to hone my writing and teaching skills in an English speaking environment. During my college years, I was repeatedly asked to tutor my fellow students in foreign languages to help them excel in class. When teaching, I prioritize a personalized approach with emphasis on friendly interaction with students and real-world examples in order to make the material relevant and relatable. I can offer interactive English/Russian lessons, tailored for your needs and preferences, help with homework and cultivate a passion for language learning. We will focus primarily on five aspects of language mastering: Speaking, Listening, Writing, Reading and Vocabulary Learning.
