I have a passion for learning and teaching the field of mathematics and science. I have experience teaching at both the elementary and high school level. They say that if you teach, you get to learn it twice - I've found this to be true during my last two years as a tutor. I believe my tutoring style is effective because I approach every opportunity with the goal of having my students teach me about the topic of the class. This fosters a greater understanding of the topic because rather than just memorizing, the students are free to teach and verbalize the topic in their own words.
