I have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (as well as an additional year studying advanced mathematics topics such as advanced differential equations, number theory and abstract algebra), and 8 years tutoring high school and university math, physics and engineering to students with wide ranges of learning styles. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I also have experience as a university TA, as well as hosting exam prep lecture-style seminars for hundreds of students in advanced calculus at UVic. I have also marked many assignments and exams from my time as a TA, so I know exactly what is expected of students, and I incorporate this knowledge into my teaching style.
