I started working as an English tutor in 2017 when I tutored a grade 2 girl with learning difficulties. I helped her with her homework and prepared her for her weekly spelling tests three times a week. I then acted as a mentor in the Regent's International School Bangkok's Mentor and Mentee Program. As a mentor, I had meetings with students who were struggling academically due to their poor English skills once a week to help them improve their reading comprehension. I am now a volunteer tutor at Frontier College. As a volunteer tutor, I help individual students and groups of students improve their English literacy through Zoom. I am also currently a recipient of the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship pursuing a degree in English at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
