I care about education and I care about people. I believe that setting and achieving both educational and personal goals are not only compatible, but mutually beneficial. I would like to use the skills I have developed to help students achieve these goals. My formal training is in the field of Philosophy where I have earned a Masters Degree. I have extensive experience both writing and editing many forms of prose (from formal essays to web-based forums). My degree has demanded a mastery of the English language and the ability to think through arguments both clearly and critically. I can effectively help students with their forming of arguments and communicating these arguments clearly in their assignments. This skill applies to all the subjects of the Humanities (English, History, Social Studies, Law, Psychology, etc.) as well as drafting written assignments for courses in Business, Science, Music, ESL. I am also a musician with 16 years of experience playing and composing music. My primary instrument is guitar, but I can effectively teach fundamental vocal and bass guitar lessons as well.
