I like to maintain a positive atmosphere where my students feel comfortable & supported. I like to get to know my students well, and will adapt my teaching style based on the student's needs/interests. I am no stranger to hard work, as I earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University in 2014. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages. Below are a few highlights: - 1 year teaching English as a Second Language online (ages 3-13) - 8+ years of tutoring experience, primarily in English & Math (ages 10-17) - 4 years of experience teaching the fundamentals of water filtration & environmental sustainability (ages 10-11) - 3 years of experience as a figure skating coach - 3 years of experience as a soccer coach - 2 years of experience as a cheerleading coach (ages 4 to 13) When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my large family, cooking tasty new meals, and enjoying the outdoors!
