Hello! My name is Rachel, and I am a Grade 3 teacher with the Calgary Board of Education with over 6 years of experience in the classroom, and over 12 year experience working with kids. I am a graduate from the University of Calgary, and passionate about supporting my students develop their literacy and numeracy skills, and would like to continue bringing my skillset in programming to students in the city of Calgary as a private tutor. I am proficient in assessing in reading, writing, and math, and use a variety of researched-backed programs that have shown huge success in my classroom. I have experience working with students from a variety of backgrounds, including students who are learning English, and students who have learning needs in reading and writing.
