Hi there! I'm Maggie and I am studying Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. The short story: I've been babysitting and tutoring kids since I was a kid myself and I want to help your child reach their full potential in a safe and supportive space. The long story: Math is one of those subjects that you love or you hate - most people admittedly hate it, but I love it! I would love to share my enthusiasm for math with your family! Of course, I realize elementary/high school math is just a means to an end for many kids, and not everyone will love it as I do, but at the very least, I can help make it far less brutal. I want to work with your child to figure out what works for them and tailor our tutoring to it. I've gone through countless tutors myself throughout my childhood. From all of these experiences, I can confidently say that I learned best when I felt safe and comfortable around my tutor.
