My name is Kayla and I am a first year of University in the Environmental Sciences & Business Program. After graduating from high school in June of 2018 at School, I took at gap year and spent 8 months living in Paris and working as an Au Pair. Throughout the year, I carried out many childcare duties for my 3 & 7 year old host kids as well as provided tutoring services. After returning from Paris, I worked in Vancouver as a BI providing intervention, R&R, Play Therapist services for children ages 1-10 with ASD. I have 9 years of experience working with children of all ages and capabilities. I would consider myself to be an extremely responsible, driven, creating, caring, bubbly and patient person with a passion for working with children, and specifically children with ASD. My other passions include hiking, baking, traveling, making travel videos and striving towards living a sustainable lifestyle. Because of my extremely diverse childcare experience, I am confident that I will fit in nicely with any family :) I look forward to hearing from you!
