I am a Middle Years Classroom Teacher with 2 years teaching experience in the French Immersion Program. I completed my Bachelor of Arts majoring in French through l'Université de Saint-Boniface, as well as my Bachelor of Education. I have experience working with grades 5-9, as immediately upon graduating from Education, I began working a 3 month teaching term from April-June 2017. In this assignment, I taught French Culture and Communication (formerly known as Basic French), and supported EAL students (English as an additional language). I began my permanent teaching assignment in the fall of 2017, teaching Grade 6 French immersion. My current teaching assignment for the 2018-2019 school year is Grade 5/6 combined. I am passionate about teaching and value the strong relationships that I have been able to form with my students through a Humanist approach to teaching.
