Hi!! I'm Jo, and I am a super enthusiastic and patient tutor. With more than a decade of tutoring experience, I love helping students of all ages and abilities through the tough problems in math and science. I hold a degree in Microbiology and a minor in Math from the University of Washington. I have also worked in the public school system and am very comfortable with the curriculum. I specialize in helping students (of all ages!) improve their base of understanding in these tough subjects, while keeping a focus on improving one's grades. There is no challenge too small or great! From understanding the beginnings of algebra, chemistry, biology, and physics to to upper level calculus, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and p-chem, I can help. I love to work through sticky problems and find different ways to solve and understand this material. Let's get a jump start on the school year!
