I am about to go into my second year at Huron at Western doing a double major in Global Development and Sociocultural Anthropology. I believe that I have many great qualifications that would help your daughters to succeed. First of all, I have experience tutoring. I have spent a year tutoring a 10 year old boy with autism in math, helping him to find new ways to learn concepts that he was unable to wrap his head around. I have also spent time on and off helping a boy with an auditory processing disorder to complete his daily online learning tasks in the most effective way possible for him to learn. As well as that, I have 2 years of customer service experience and as a result I am able to efficiently and effectively communicate and find different ways to express things if they are not immediately understood. I also have 3 years of experience providing respite care to a boy with low functioning, non verbal autism. Although this job could be extremely difficult at times, there was nothing more heartwarming than seeing the moment when he was finally able to connect a concept we had been working on with the real world. I am also fluent in English and French.
