I offer in-home tutoring for students in kindergarten through grade 6. My belief is that every child is a capable and competent learner with unique strengths and abilities. As your child's tutor, I will first seek to understand their strengths and preferences in learning in order to design effective and meaningful learning experiences in their areas of need. I have had over 5 years of experience working with children, including 2 years of teaching placements in a variety of grades, covering all subject areas. I received my Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Drama and History from University, followed by a certification in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health from College, and my Bachelors of Education from University. I am currently employed in a School Board as an Occasional Teacher. When I am not in the classroom, I teach yoga and dance to children and enjoy playing the piano.
