As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed interpersonal interaction. As a professional journalist, I also had numerous opportunities to teach the English language at various language centers, schools, and two universities. Furthermore, I also had the opportunity to be a 5th grade homeroom teacher at a school in the UAE, as well as an after-school group tutor. I am comfortable working with the elderly, as well as children of all ages. Lastly, and although educators are rarely renumerated based on the amount of effort and care they put into the profession, my reward has always been the personal satisfaction I receive when offering the needed services to all parties concerned. This reality is cemented by the emails I receive every other year from former students praising some of the things they learned in my classroom. I am good at what I do, because I love what I do and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to prove it.
