I have had many years of tutoring experience. Starting as a high school student, I tutored english and Spanish for a couple of years. Thereafter, I became a peer assistant at Carleton where I was the "go to" person for any and all sociology questions. I also hosted fun and inclusive workshops for students that were struggling in certain classes twice weekly. I truly enjoy teaching, so when the opportunity rose that I could be a teaching assistant, i was ecstatic. I did two semesters of TAing for a research methods class and introduction to sociology. I looked forward to going to my classes of 50 students weekly, with it being the best part of my week.
