I offered private tutoring for undergraduate students in chemistry and biology. I established students' weak points during our first meeting through actively listening to students' concerns. I constructed animated presentations to enhance understanding of difficult concepts and I tailored the delivery of information to students' preferred style of learning (such as visual or kinesthetic learning styles). I also gauged students' body language and offered additional instruction on difficult concepts. Additionally, I mentored undergraduate and medical students in a basic science research lab. I taught experimental techniques and background biology theory and established long-term goal with each student to enhance their motivation. I asked leading questions to guide students' learning and improve information retention and balanced praise with constructive feedback.
