My name is Elizabeth and I am an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with 3 years of teaching experience and over 8 years of private tutoring experience. I am certified to teach elementary school students in all core subjects as well as additional training in English as a Second Language (ESL), & French as a Second Language. I am patient and compassionate. My goal is to tailor my tutoring sessions to the individual needs of your child. I will get to know them, their likes and interests to incorporate that into our sessions. I will also assess their strengths and areas of growth and work to use that as we work on homework, go over key concepts, and practice areas that need more reinforcement. I encourage them to come to a session with questions and things they want help with and I will also come prepared with supplemental activities that engage them and meet them at their level. I am familiar with the Ontario curriculum, having been both a student here and having taught it. Your student is in good hands!
