I am a student of the Integrated Education Program at the University of Winnipeg. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Education as well as a Bachelor of Arts, with a teachable major in English and a minor in Psychology. I have completed two practicums. During my second practicum I was placed in Student Services, which gave me an opportunity to work with a range of students with different types of learning needs. I have found that it helped me to develop my skills concerning teaching, and has expanded my approach to teaching in a way that is more specific to the learner. During my time as a student teacher I have enjoyed working with young people, and have since begun searching for a job in my field of study. My area of expertise is English and Language Arts - I have experience helping students learn to read and write, and edit their work. I can help with homework, essays, and exam preparation.
