I am a 3rd year PhD Candidate in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Toronto. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Drexel University, Philadelphia and have a Master's worth of education in Astrophysics. I have tutored high school students in physics and math before and work well with middle and high school students, especially the ones that struggle with math. I believe necessary time and support is necessary in STEM education to avoid mathphobia and it is important to me as a tutor that my students enjoy the learning process.
