My name is Craig , and I am a second-year Bachelor's of Journalism student (remotely) attending Carleton University, also pursuing a Minor in English Literature. As my scholastic path suggests, I'm a big fan of words. I always thrived in English courses. I graduated with a 95% mark in Grade 12 English, the highest English grade of my entire graduating class. So I know how to study English material, produce quality written work. As a French Immersion student, I also graduated high school with a Certificat Bilingue. On the written portion of the provincial Grade 12 'examen diplome' for French Language Arts, I received a 98%. Suffice to say, je peux conjuger. Now, I have never tutored before. My experience and skillset stem from the subjects. I believe I could effectively instruct students in their English/French courses by passing along writing tips and reading strategies, peer-editing written work, and revising terms and theory. Plus, I will reread whatever works your kid studies in class myself to engage them in fun, thoughtful, discussions.
