Hi there! My name is Brianna, and I’ve recently been accepted to the University of Alberta to finish my degree in Kinesiology. I am originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, where I completed a degree in Biology-Psychology, and I hope to become a medical doctor in the future. For the past two years, I have been working as an Educator for Little Lions Waldorf Daycare. I have had the opportunity to work with infants up to school age and have loved every minute of it! I also have been working as support staff for a family with children with higher needs (cerebral palsy and autism). Here I have been able to work with children ages 7-16 and have been educated in gentle teaching, ASL and their specific needs. Additionally, I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and Food Safety. I spend much of my free time outdoors and I also enjoy many sports. When it comes to children, I love to get them outdoors as much as possible to keep them active, teach them about nature, or even complete fun science experiments. With school being online this year, I have also had the opportunity to help tutor children in English, French, math, science, and social studies; therefore, I am comfortable helping with any homework/tutoring.
