I am passionate not only about teaching and working alongside children, but also teaching and tutoring adolescents as well as adults. I utilized my language skills (major in Spanish/native in French) by teaching abroad. I deeply enjoyed my individual as well as group tutoring classes with children, adolescents, and adults. Seeing them grow more confident and engaged in their language skills gave me great joy. Working with a small part of the business, news spread across the whole organization about how talented and skilled I was at teaching my students. My skills involved not only teaching but making learning an atmosphere where they can have fun, create, innovate, retrospect, and think critically. Concerning my childcare experience, I have worked caring for children for more than seven years for many families. I have been known by word of mouth to be an excellent childcare worker. Having graduated from a major in Psychology, I have many tools on hand to help motivate/engage children in proper behaviours. Not only do I passionately desire my students to excel academically, but I desire them to become creative thinkers, confident solution makers, and actively engaged citizens, applying what they learn to real life situations.
