I specialize in working with high school and college students to improve their reading comprehension, writing, and test preparation skills. I tutor a variety of social studies and social science subjects including anthropology, geography, and history. My teaching methodology is suited to one-on-one sessions or small groups where I can help students individually with their work. I review the lesson with students and go over concepts that they are struggling with. To help students remember difficult or abstract concepts, I use examples, visual models, and diagrams as memory aids. I also help students proofread and edit written assignments.
