Hi there! My name is Amy and in 2017 I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and English at McMaster University. Before, during and after completing my degree, I've held many positions in which I worked with children! From my first job babysitting to working as a gymnastics coach, childcare worker, camp counsellor and finally English tutor, I've got the experience you're looking for. I've worked with children anywhere from ages 2-14 and with children with special needs (Autism, Asperger's and ADHD). I completed a 150 hour TEFL/TESOL course to teach English as a foreign language and have tutored adults in English. With a job offer to teach English in Vietnam, I had packed my bags and left earlier this year before the current situation escalated. Once I arrived in Vietnam, the schools were closed so I returned home to Canada and am now seeking a tutoring position here! My other professional experience includes, customer service, administrative (university test marker), hospitality and copywriting/digital marketing roles.
