I am currently attending Brock University for my Bachelors of Business Administration degree. I am planning to attend teachers college at the primary level once completing my Bachelors degree. For twelve years my family and I fostered children newborn-ten years of age. Throughout high school and the beginning my University education, I worked as a caregiver and at summer camps. I was Councillor for both the Tim Horton's foundation March Break camp and a preschool day camp for the City of Hamilton. Once I have completed my teacher's college, my goal is to obtain the required degrees and teach in a special needs classroom setting. While I worked for the City of Hamilton in a preschool day-camp, I took on the role of working with children who needed extra assistance or had behavioural issues. I loved the opportunity this role provided, by being able to build strong connections with each child and learn what strategies worked best for them. I want to build my experience for future jobs, while continuing to learn about different special needs and strategies.
