I started my Child Care journey working at a summer camp called Camp Kodiak. A camp for kids with Autism, ADHD, Learning disabilities, etc.. I was head counsellor for two years out of my three years there. I worked with the 8-10 year olds with ADHD. At this camp I mainly taught arts & crafts & guitar. Camp Kodiak was the best experience During those three years I also work at Lindsay Welds. I mainly worked in Kids Connection at St.Hewberts in their school daycares. After that experience, I worked in a Private Home Daycare. While working here, I followed a routine, supervised swimming pool, prepared meals & cleaning. I was taking over that Private daycare but then covid hit. My whole teenage life I babysat. At 17, I started at Partners Bowling as a birthday party hostess. I’ve always worked with children. I am passionate about teaching & about the developing mind of children. I am patient with their needs. Im from Northbay & I have a Diploma from Canadore for Recreational Therapy.
