Since 2008 I have been working in the developmental sector, I have experience supporting people with Autism, OCD tendencies, aggression towards self and others and other various intellectual disabilities. I believe in focusing on the the persons abilities to promote self confidence and being the bridge for the areas where support is needed. My person centred approach allows the person to be in the “drivers seat”of their lives that promotes self advocacy. I’m big on community engagement and fostering connections to create a sense of belonging. I am very focused on the diverse needs of the people that I support, I assist them in all areas in life including but not limited to, personal care, banking, grocery shopping, cooking,doctors appointments and community engagement.
