I am an RCA (registered care attendant) for seniors with 10+ yrs experience primarily in dementia care. I have an official care aide registration # that is constantly monitored. I have a special affinity for seniors + love animals. Our furbabies include 3 cats + 1 dog. I have 5 yrs experience bathing/showering seniors who require lifts or are independently mobile. I have worked in several LTC facilities as well as live-in home care for a male quadraplegic using a cathetar. I am empathetic/compassionate by nature. I cared for my mom who had dementia, @ home, until she passed last yr. We are fortunate that she lived with us for 12 yrs.
