I have over 20 years of experience in a professional capacity and 18 years of personal experience. I have various skills and techniques that have helped children learn to cope with everyday issues that arise. I spent 20 years working in the school system and was successfully able to assist many children with learning coping strategies and skills to overcome sever sensitivity issues, manage intense emotional feelings and thrive socially. As a parent of a child with Autism, I created a tailored treatment plan that helped my son overcome behavioral challenges, learn important social skills and develop critical coping strategies when facing over-stimulating situations. He is now preparing to attend University this fall to study Criminology. This journey sharpened my ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and ensuring each targeted behavior plan was customized for success. I have dedicated the majority of my life to empowering children with the skills necessary to face and overcome the challenges that life presents.
