I have experience babysitting special needs children. I speak American Sign Language, which is often used by nonverbal kids to help them communicate. The special needs child I took care of was non-verbal, happy-high energy, and used about a dozen signs to communicate. I also have more limited experience with ADHD/ADD children, and children with dyslexia.
