I have raised a son with Autism and Type 1 diabetes. If you are not familiar with the challenges of the clashes between the two, his autism was black and white with no grey accepted and the diabetes was all shades of grey. Once my son moved on to college, we opened our home to our nephews. One was ADD and one was a drug baby with ADHD and impulse control issues.
