I am a small business owner (sole proprietorship) who uses his L.I.F.E. (Love, Independence, Fulfillment, Empowerment) based support strategy to develop fulfillment inside and out for people with developmental disabilities ages 10 to 60. I developed it through my day to day experience taking care of my older brother with autism, helping him find his purpose in music, develop communication and community inclusion skills. Through my 6 years in the field by volunteering as a Special Olympics coach and as a support worker for multiple agencies to spread my knowledge. Share and build on my experience throughout them impacting lots of individuals and families .I use my heart and relationship building experience to have the individual and family develop trust in me through creating structured goals and then putting them into action, in doing so they develop independence. As time goes by the end goal for the individual is to develop the four levels of self (Self Esteem, Self-Love, Self-Worth and Self-Acceptance) and empowered to keep creating more goals and be the best version of themselves they can be and not labeled by their disability.
