Previously in my last job I worked for the past 4 years on a one to one basis with a child who has severe autism, is non verbal, has severe learning difficulties and has epilepsy. I worked with this child monday - Friday from 9am to 3pm. I took on basic care duties while keeping the child's dignity in mind. Helping with and teach basic life skills. I also worked with another child on a one to one basis at the same time who has hydrocephalus and a shunt. My main job was to look out for this child's health and safety.
