I have been working with a 12 year old Austic boy for 4 years. He loves to go to the movies, play board games and take my dog for a walk. I've given him the confidence to order his own food when we go out to eat and when we go to the movies he is able to tell the attendant which movie he wants to see, he has really come along way with his self confidence. My first time working with special needs children was with co-op students from Cardinal Carter High School, it was an amazing experience, they have taught me so much.
