I have extensive expierence with children and teens and adults with speacial needs. I have my own 19yr old son who is on the Autism spectrum and has ADHD and Anxiety. I worked as a support worker for 15 years. More recently I was a crisis worker in mental health for 5 years. I also worked for Nanaimo Family Life for 2 years up until currently. I have a few private clients as well. Im creative with problem solving and have an amazing ability to think on my toes. I am ok with ALL types of behaviors that I may see and dont take things personally. I love this area and have done lots of advocacy work for myself and many families.
