I have spent the last 10 years working as a Learning Facilitator at Durham College in a program design to help individuals with learning challenges and or developmental disabilities. The program was designed to help integrate individuals who typically would not have the opportunity to attend college. Part of my role involved modifying and personalizing curriculum to each student’s ability as well as teaching them strategies for success. I love working with all ages and abilities. Prior to that I worked as the Youth Crew Leader for the EYC program at Community Living. As well as worked as the Recreational Coordinator at Sunrise Youth group. Both experiences allowed me the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals of all abilities.
