While being a counsellor at Camp, I had the opportunity to perform manual transfers and was responsible for planning activities and helping with ADL's for 12 intellectually or physically disabled campers. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, I work with independent and dependant Geriatrics. I help them with ADL's and am responsible to give medications, eye drops, and do dressing changes. I also provide companionship and a person to talk to, if needed.
