Hello! I'm Mia. I am a fun, friendly out going individual who loves going out on fun adventures. For the past 3 years I've worked as an Intervenor with a deafblind child who has cerebral palsy. In that job I facilitated communication, supported mobility and provided personal care. I have volunteered with a therapeutic riding centre which allowed me to interact with many different types of people who had a variety of disabilities. I am fluent in both American Sign Language and English. I have my first aid CPR C with AED certification. I am comfortable performing personal care and happy to be trained in anything the specific individual needs.
