I am a trained education assistant who has recently moved from California, but am a Canadian citizen. I previously lived and worked as an EA in Calgary, AB in both elementary and middle school. In California I worked in a special day class with a variety of learner needs and as a resource assistant to students with needs in the General Education population. I have successfully parented and raised three amazing children of my own and am a new grandmother. I love everything to do with kids and my calm, relaxed demeanor has given me success with winning kids over and motivating them to succeed academically and socially. It was an honor to receive Paraprofessional of the year in 2016. My communication skills are exemplary and consistent with both kids and parents and other disciplinary staff.
