I combine over 10 years of experience in diverse teaching environments with my expertise in special education and child development theory to create evidence-based interactive learning environments that support your child's growth. I have extensive experience supporting children and youth of all ages and abilities including serving as a behaviour support director at an overnight camp program for children, youth and young adults with exceptionalities, working as an inclusion facilitator at the University of Guelph vanguard Child Care and Learning Center, research work at the Offord Centre for Child Studies at McMaster University, working as a Special Education Consultancy, as well as countless hours of working 1-on-1 with students and teaching in diverse classroom environments. I am passionate and driven in my pursuit to create learning experiences and strategies that support every child in experiencing success both inside and outside of the classroom. My dedication to help every child experience success is rooted in the belief that every child has the capacity to contribute and communicate, and is a social being who is entitled to respect, care, quality education and comprehensive services that are in their best interests.
