Hello! I am Meaghan and I am 25 years old. I have worked for the Waterloo Catholic School Board for the past 4 years as a special education assistant for elementary aged children. I have a diploma in special needs care and am trained in the use of proloquo2Go and infant sign language. I believe it is crucial for exceptional individuals to be taught essential life skills and to be integrated into society as their amazing selves. I have an intense understanding of autism spectrum disorder as well as other behavioural needs such as ADHD, ADD, fetal alcohol syndrome, and many other potential behavioural needs. I recently quit my job as I am looking for part-time work in order to be home more for my 2 year old daughter. I drive my own car and can work weekdays and weekends. I'm very much looking forward to meeting you and your child!
